How to Play The Lost Island of Dust in real life...

If you have played the game and lost and received your fate on the scorecard, firstly I wish you had contacted me first. But below are my quick rules on how to play the game again in order to save the island and its animals

 

1. Collect real ‘heart tokens’ from your surrounding area: soil, seeds, stones and stories.

2. The stones, soil and seeds should be from as many different locations and in as many different varieties as possible

3. The stories you should write yourself, there is something about uniqueness and imagination that makes them stronger, stories about secret island’s work well.

4. DO NOT TRY TO TRACK THE ANIMALS (they will turn to dust)

5. Gather your stones, seeds, soil and stories around the game

6. Recite the island greeting and PLAY AGAIN

7. Play as quickly as you can to collect heart tokens, for each heart token that you collect place some of your real resources in the corresponding circle on the edge of the map

8. DON’T WORRY ABOUT CREATING DUST THIS TIME, BE COURAGEOUS AND COLLECT AS MANY TOKENS AS POSSIBLE

9. When the timer ends, stand back, recite the island farewell and leave the game and all the resources in the dark.

 

If you are successful the map will be restored and any of the island animals that escaped will be returned to safety.
